Have you ever noticed that life seems to move in cycles?
There are seasons when everything feels aligned and flowing, and then there are moments when life begins asking something entirely different of us. The goals that once motivated us no longer feel as meaningful. Relationships evolve. Priorities change. We begin sensing that we're outgrowing an old version of ourselves, even if we can't yet see what's waiting on the other side...
I believe we're standing in one of those moments now :)
On July 26, the Lunar Nodes shifted into Aquarius and Leo, beginning a new evolutionary cycle that will guide us over the next twenty months. While astrology often focuses on how these energies affect us individually, I believe this shift offers us something much bigger. It reflects a profound transition in our collective consciousness and invites us to explore not only who we are becoming as individuals, but who we are becoming together.
This isn't simply another astrological transit.
It's the beginning of a new chapter.
One that asks us to reflect on the journey we've already taken, recognize how much we've grown, and consciously choose how we want to contribute to the future we're creating together.
What Are the Lunar Nodes?
Unlike the planets, the Lunar Nodes aren't physical bodies in the sky. They are the two points where the Moon's orbit crosses the Earth's orbital path around the Sun. Although invisible, astrologers have worked with them for thousands of years because they symbolize our evolutionary path.
The South Node represents the qualities, patterns, and ways of being that are already familiar to us. They often feel comfortable because we've relied on them before. They're not negative, in fact, they're often some of our greatest strengths - but, when we cling to them too tightly, they can limit our growth.
The North Node represents the direction of our evolution. It points toward qualities we're learning to embody and the experiences that help us expand into a more conscious version of ourselves.
Together, the Nodes create an evolutionary axis.
They don't tell us what will happen.
They invite us to ask the deeper questions.
What have we mastered?
What are we ready to let go?
What qualities are we being asked to develop next?
Every eighteen and a half years, the Nodes return to the same signs, giving us an opportunity to revisit familiar themes - not because history repeats itself, but because evolution happens in cycles.
Each time we return, we meet those lessons from a completely different level of awareness.
Looking Back Before Moving Forward
The last time the Lunar Nodes traveled through Aquarius and Leo was nearly nineteen years ago.
Take a moment to think back to that chapter of your life.
Who were you then?
What dreams were beginning to emerge?
What challenges were shaping you?
What did success mean to you?
Now think about how much has changed.
Not only in your own life, but in our world.
Over the past nineteen years we've witnessed extraordinary technological advancement. Smartphones transformed the way we communicate. Social media reshaped the way we connect with one another, and often the way we see ourselves. Artificial intelligence has moved from imagination into everyday life. Communities have become increasingly global, while many people simultaneously report feeling more isolated than ever before.
We've gained access to more information than any generation before us.
Yet so many people are no longer searching for information.
They're searching for meaning.
For purpose.
For genuine connection.
For community.
For a life that feels aligned instead of simply successful.
Perhaps that isn't a coincidence.
Perhaps this nineteen-year journey has been preparing humanity for exactly this moment.
A conscious evolution.
Completing the Virgo–Pisces Chapter
Before stepping into Aquarius and Leo, we've just completed a deeply meaningful cycle with the North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo.
Over the past eighteen months, we've been invited to explore the balance between structure and surrender, logic and intuition, planning and trusting.
Virgo reminded us of the importance of healthy routines, responsibility, discernment, and caring for our physical well-being. It encouraged us to organize our lives and become more intentional with our daily choices.
But it also revealed its shadow.
Many of us became aware of where we overthink, overanalyze.
Where perfectionism keeps us from beginning.
Where we try to control every outcome because uncertainty feels uncomfortable.
Where we constantly focus on fixing ourselves instead of recognizing how much we've already grown.
At the same time, the North Node in Pisces invited us to soften.
To trust our intuition.
To reconnect with creativity, compassion, imagination, and spirituality.
To remember that not everything can be solved through logic alone.
Some lessons can only be learned by surrendering to the journey.
Collectively, we've also witnessed a growing desire to slow down.
More people are prioritizing their mental and emotional well-being.
More people are questioning traditional definitions of success.
Many are choosing lives that feel more intentional, more connected to nature, more aligned with their values.
We've learned that productivity alone doesn't create fulfillment.
Achievement alone doesn't create peace.
This cycle has reminded us that wisdom isn't found only in doing more.
Sometimes it's found in becoming still enough to hear ourselves again.
Before moving into this new chapter, it's worth taking a moment to reflect.
What have the past eighteen months taught you?
Where have you learned to trust yourself more deeply?
What old patterns are you finally ready to leave behind?
Every nodal cycle prepares us for the next.
The lessons of Virgo and Pisces have strengthened our inner foundation.
Now we're being asked to bring that wisdom into the world.

Entering the Aquarius–Leo Cycle
If the last cycle was about cultivating greater inner alignment, this new chapter asks a different question.
What will you do with everything you've learned?
How will your healing benefit something beyond yourself?
How will your gifts contribute to your community?
How can your unique voice become part of creating a more conscious future?
This is the heart of the Aquarius–Leo axis.
Leo reminds us to discover our unique light.
Aquarius reminds us that our light becomes even more meaningful when it's shared in service to the collective.
It's no longer just about personal growth.
It's about collective evolution.
The Gifts and Shadows of Leo
Leo is often associated with confidence, creativity, passion, leadership, generosity, and self-expression. It reminds us that each one of us carries a unique spark that deserves to be seen and shared. Leo teaches us to create from the heart, to celebrate life, and to express ourselves authentically.
These are beautiful gifts.
The world needs more people who are willing to create, inspire, lead, and bring joy.
But every archetype has a shadow.
Leo's shadow isn't confidence.
It's seeking confidence from outside ourselves.
It's believing our worth depends on recognition, validation, success, or applause.
It's comparing ourselves to others.
It's feeling like we constantly have to prove ourselves or perform in order to be enough.
It can show up as needing to be right, needing to be admired, or feeling unseen when we're not receiving external acknowledgment.
If you've ever found yourself asking...
"Am I doing enough?"
"Do people see me?"
"Why am I not where everyone else seems to be?"
...you're not alone.
This cycle gently asks us to let go of the belief that our value depends on someone else's opinion.
True confidence doesn't come from being noticed.
It comes from knowing who you are, even when no one is watching.
The Magical Invitation of Aquarius
If Leo asks us to discover our unique light...
Aquarius asks us a much bigger question.
How does your light contribute to humanity?
Aquarius is the visionary.
The innovator, humanitarian, community builder.
It reminds us that while every individual is unique, none of us are separate.
We are part of something much larger than ourselves.
Aquarius encourages collaboration over competition.
Curiosity over certainty.
Innovation over tradition simply for tradition's sake.
It invites us to imagine new possibilities rather than trying to recreate the past.
This energy asks us to think beyond our personal success and consider our collective future.
How can we create healthier communities?
How can we support one another more deeply?
How can technology become a tool that connects us rather than distracts us?
How can we honor individuality while remembering our interconnectedness?
These are Aquarian questions.
And I honestly can't think of a more relevant time for humanity to be asking them.
Finding Balance Between Leo and Aquarius
One of the biggest misconceptions in astrology is that we're supposed to leave the South Node behind and become the North Node.
I don't see it that way.
We're not meant to stop being Leo.
We're meant to evolve Leo.
The courage of Leo becomes even more powerful when it's guided by the vision of Aquarius.
Our individuality matters.
Our gifts matter.
Our creativity matters.
But this cycle reminds us that those gifts aren't meant to exist in isolation.
They're meant to become our contribution.
Leo asks,
"Who am I?"
Aquarius asks,
"How does who I am make life better for everyone?"
The goal isn't to lose ourselves in the collective.
Nor is it to become so focused on ourselves that we forget the collective exists.
The invitation is balance.
To honor our individuality while remembering our interconnectedness.
The Eclipses: Moments That Accelerate Growth
As the Lunar Nodes move through Aquarius and Leo, every eclipse over the next twenty months becomes part of this larger story.
If you've followed astrology for a while, you've probably heard eclipses described as portals or turning points.
I like to think of them as moments when life moves a little faster. When life synchronisity is fate.
They tend to reveal what has been hidden.
They illuminate where we've outgrown something.
They accelerate endings that have been unfolding quietly beneath the surface.
And they often open doors we didn't even realize were waiting for us.
Sometimes eclipse seasons bring exciting new beginnings.
Sometimes they ask us to release something we've been holding onto for far too long.
Often, they do both at the same time.
Rather than fearing eclipses, I encourage you to become curious.
Notice what conversations keep returning.
Notice what opportunities appear unexpectedly.
Notice what no longer feels aligned.
Pay attention to the places where life seems to be gently redirecting you.
Instead of resisting the changes, ask yourself,
"What is life trying to show me?" Key eclipse dates to note:
August 12, 2026 – Total Solar Eclipse in Leo
February 6, 2027 – Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius
August 2, 2027 – Total Solar Eclipse in Leo
August 17, 2027 – Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius
January 26, 2028 – Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius
Working with Eclipse Energy
Throughout this Aquarius–Leo nodal cycle, eclipses will act as powerful turning points, often bringing accelerated change, meaningful endings, unexpected opportunities, and greater clarity.
Rather than using eclipse energy to manifest or force a new direction, I like to treat these moments as an invitation to pause. Instead of focusing on what's next, take time to appreciate how far you've come, express gratitude for all that you've already created, and surrender to what is unfolding.
A few simple ways to work with eclipse energy:
Slow down and create space for reflection.
Practice gratitude for what is already present in your life.
Stay open to unexpected changes and new opportunities.
Ground yourself through nature, meditation, or breathwork.
Trust that what is leaving is creating space for something even more aligned.
Above all, remember that eclipses aren't here to disrupt your life—they're here to realign you with your highest path. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is let go of needing to control the outcome and trust the wisdom of the unfolding. ✨
Pluto in Aquarius: A Once-in-a-Generation Transformation
While the Lunar Nodes guide our evolution over the next twenty months, they're doing so alongside one of the most significant astrological shifts of our lifetime: Pluto's journey through Aquarius.
Pluto is the planet of deep transformation. It invites us to release old identities, beliefs, and patterns that no longer reflect who we are, making space for a more authentic expression of ourselves. Although this process can bring profound endings, astrology views those endings as creating room for renewal and growth.
As Pluto moves through Aquarius, we're invited to question not only the world around us, but also the systems we've built within ourselves. Where have we given away our power? What beliefs are ready to evolve? How can we contribute to a future that reflects our highest values?
As each of us transforms from within, we naturally begin shaping the collective around us. Perhaps that's the deeper invitation of Pluto in Aquarius - not to imagine a new future, but to become the kind of people who can help create it. Jupiter in Leo: Refining Our Light
Adding another fascinating layer to this chapter, Jupiter is also traveling through Leo for the next year, activating the very sign that now holds the South Node.
At first glance, this may seem contradictory. If the South Node is inviting us to release old Leo patterns, why would Jupiter be expanding Leo's energy?
The invitation isn't to let go of Leo itself it's to release its shadows. This is a powerful time to heal the need for external validation, approval, recognition, or proving our worth. As those old patterns fall away, Jupiter encourages us to embrace Leo's highest expression: authentic confidence, joyful creativity, courageous self-expression, and leading from the heart.
Together, these energies remind us that true confidence doesn't come from being admired—it comes from deeply knowing who we are. When we no longer shine for applause, we become free to shine because it's simply our nature.
From that place, the North Node in Aquarius asks us to offer our gifts in service of something greater than ourselves.
Lastly...
Rather than asking,
"What's going to happen to me during this nodal cycle?"
I invite you to ask different questions.
Where am I still seeking validation outside of myself?
Where have I been dimming my light in order to fit in?
How can I express my gifts more authentically?
How can my work, my creativity, or my presence contribute to my community?
Where am I being invited to collaborate instead of carrying everything alone?
How can I use technology more intentionally?
What kind of future do I want to help create?
These questions aren't meant to be answered overnight.
They're companions for the journey.
Return to them throughout this cycle.
Notice how your answers evolve.
A Collective Invitation
One of the reasons I love astrology isn't because I believe it predicts our future.
It's because it offers us perspective.
It reminds us that we're always growing.
Always evolving.
Always being invited into greater awareness.
This Aquarius–Leo cycle reminds us that our individuality and our interconnectedness are not opposites.
They belong together.
The world doesn't need us to become someone else.
It needs each of us to become more fully ourselves—and then have the courage to share those gifts in service of something greater.
I truly believe this is one of the great invitations of our time.
To move beyond asking,
"How can I succeed?"
And begin asking,
"How can we thrive together?"
Because every conscious conversation...
Every act of kindness...
Every creative idea...
Every moment we choose authenticity over performance...
Every time we choose connection over division...
We help shape the collective future we're all living into.
The future isn't created by one extraordinary person.
It's created by ordinary people making conscious choices every single day.
Perhaps that's the deeper message of these Lunar Nodes.
Not simply to evolve as individuals...
But to remember that our personal evolution becomes most meaningful when it contributes to the evolution of humanity.
As we step into this new chapter, may we have the courage to honor our unique light, the wisdom to share it generously, and the vision to help build a future rooted in compassion, innovation, and genuine connection.
Because that's how we change the world.
Together. ✨
